Baby Unit (0-1 yrs)
Choosing day care for your baby is a very important decision. Here at Breaston Manor we welcome your baby into a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where they have opportunities to play and have fun with our large selection of baby toys and soft play shapes.
There is a separate quiet room where they can sleep in peace. Kaya Townsend and Liz Rogers who run the Baby Unit, will be happy to discuss your babies routine before they start Nursery.
Hayley Johnson, Shannon Fowler, Rachel Chambers, Siobhan Sutton and Rebecca Adams-Blavins create a happy and secure environment in which children can learn by exploring treasure baskets and sensory activities as well as playing with simple puzzles, shape sorters and blocks.
Blue Room (2-3 yrs)
In this room our aim is to provide a stimulating environment where the young can play while enjoying singing, stories and finger rhymes.
The children are introduced to potty training which is a major milestone.
Emily Sheriff, Shannon Spoors and Fiona Spoors are always there for advice and support, and lots of positive encouragement.
Pre-School (3-5 yrs)
Here the children develop through participation in activities such as arts and crafts, music, reading simple work sheets and educational outings. We positively encourage the children to develop their skills at their own rate whilst gaining enjoyment from doing so.
Sarah Foster, Michelle Twigger, Jemma Clough and Jess Birley take care of our 3 year olds, developing the skills necessary for entry into primary school. They have a packed curriculum each term to include reading, writing, music, drama, physical activities and mathematical skills.
Every Thursday morning the children participate in French classes with Sylvie who has been with us for 15 years.
A wonderful place of peace and tranquility where the children can have fun in the mud kitchen.
